The Haunted Barn is a family owned haunted house that was in once a working barn. When arriving, the atmosphere of the waiting area is really neat. They have a bonfire and live DJ so there is plenty of entertainment while waiting to enter the show.
The show at The Haunted Barn is shorter than some other haunts we have been to, but the quality of the show made it worth the visit. The actors and staff were great and the show was well put together.
There were a lot of scenes that we really liked. The church scene was creepy and the clown area was a lot of fun. The vortex was classic, and fun as well! There was clearly a lot of time put into the design of the 16 different rooms and the actors brought the show to life.
The last part of the haunted house is a dark maze, which took a few mins to get through. It took up space that could have been used for other scenes- but at the same time, it was fun trying to find our way through.
There were some animatronics throughout the show, but for the most part, actors were the focus. That is something I really liked about this show that set it apart from other shows. Actors brought the show to life - and they did it well.
The Haunted Barn and many of its scenes reminded me of a classic old-school haunt and it really was a lot of fun.
